Deborah Sowray is a contemporary English-born artist, known for her watercolor, pencil and acrylic paintings. Her work focuses on landscapes, seascapes, florals and pet portraits, capturing moments of quiet beauty with a refined, realistic style.

Deborah studied art in high school and college, earning a BA in Anthropology and Museum Studies. After college, she worked as a museum curator in Boston before spending over 23 years in New York City and 12 years in Western Massachusetts. She now lives in Connecticut along the Sound, where the coastal landscape continues to inspire her work.
